You will be predominantly based at a large liquid storage facility in Middlesbrough where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the plant and equipment on site in a safe, competent manner in line with both the client's systems and the site's systems.
Your day to day duties as the Maintenance Electrician will include but are not limited to:
• Planned and preventative maintenance routines.
• Reactive maintenance.
• Ascertain job requirements from drawings or other specifications.
• Installation of power, lighting and plant equipment when and where required.
• Inspection, testing and fault finding.
In order to be considered for the role, you must hold the following qualifications:
• City & Guilds Level 3 Qualification in electrical installation or equivalent
• CompEx 01-04
• CCNSG - Site Safety Passport
In addition to the essential qualifications and safety cards listed above, the client has also advised that you will need to have/obtain the 18th Edition regulations should you be successful with your application either before you commence work or shortly after you've started on site.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of a similar role within an industrial environment where experience working within a COMAH site and / or the Oil & Gas industry will be seen as both highly advantageous and desirable.

The following package is currently on offer:
•£18.13p/hour (PAYE) for your first 40 hours Monday - Friday followed by a competitive overtime structure that commences once you've exceeded the standard 40 hours per week.
• A typical working week of 38 hours Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm).
• 25 Days Holiday + Statutory Bank Holidays per annum.
