Newly created role: GMP Auditor for a Global Pharmaceutical Company.

Commutable from: Liverpool – Speke – St Helens – Chester – Knowsley – Birkenhead – Wrexham – Warrington - Widnes

This role has been designed to support the Product Development Quality Assurance Audit Program. You will be a part of both a local team, and a wider international team with a global focus.

Based in Liverpool, and with regular travel (both domestically and internationally – mostly in Europe) this role will have a huge affect on the productivity and effectiveness of the wider organisation.

Your role will be to perform cGMP audits and assessments of service providers across the research and development project supply chain. You will be liaising and working with internal, acquired and external manufacturing, packaging/labelling , laboratory suppliers. This will be across GMP relevant materials, components, storage and distribution as well as services and activities supporting clinical manufacture and packaging for human use.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role auditing:
  • Sterile / None sterile APIs
  • Drug products
  • Medical Devices
  • Combination products
  • And new technology
You will be able to demonstrate experience in leading multidisciplinary audit teams for complex and / or high risk audits; and have experience executing routine, due diligence and For Cause assessments.

Key responsibilities:
  • Preparation / Planning / Execution / Reporting / Follow up / Escalation
  • Inspection Readiness (gathering information)
  • Audit program (ensuring completion in a timely manner)
Ideal Candidate:

As a degree qualified candidate from a related scientific field, you will be able to demonstrate the experience in a similar role with the pharmaceutical / medical devices   industry. You will have excellent intercommunication skills and be able to build relationships with ease. You will be able to travel with this role both domestic and internationally (predominantly in Europe); the role offers flexibility and career opportunities.
