Laboratory Analyst, Global Company, £16,000-£20,000 + excellent development opportunities. Site is commutable from Stretford, Salford, Prestwich, Ashton under-Lyne, Stockport and Cheadle.

A Global company is currently seeking a Laboratory Analyst join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Laboratory Manager and sitting within the analytical department, this role will have the responsibility of utilising a handful of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC and IC within a traditional testing environment. Successful applicants can expect to be trained in at least one of the above techniques but should already have experience within one of the above analytical techniques. This is an excellent opportunity to be developed and trained within HPLC,GC or IC techniques and to progress a career as an analyst. 

Daily duties may include;
  • handling sample preparation
  • Analysis of samples by HPLC & IC in line with laboratory procedures
  • Process and interpretation of analytical results
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Ensuring laboratory records are kept accurate and up to date.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Analyst or somebody with c.6- 12 months experience to join an industry leader. The role will offer both experienced candidates and those newer to a Laboratory Analyst position a great challenge and the development opportunities on offer will ensure those with varying experience will gain a great amount from the position.
