We are recruiting on behalf of a global client based near to Wigan who are looking for extra resource in their Customer Service team. You will be responsible for taking calls from clients and escalating issues/faults to the relevant departments and following these through to resolution. This is a busy, fast paced environment with a great deal of variety within the position. 

  • Answering and responding to calls in a professional manner
  • Accurately logging calls
  • Update the system with call progress
  • Working to client set SLA's
  • Ensuring excellent levels of customer service is maintained
  • General office administration
  • Computer literate
  • Customer service experience
  • Prioritisation of tasks
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent team worker
  • Self motivated
  • Starting salary of £18,000
  • Weekend working rota (one in three) with time back in lieu or paid overtime
  • Overtime paid up to double time
