Our client is a market leader within Infrastructure, Property and Industry and they are active on many high-profile projects. With Global presence they offer stability and long term progression to their employees as well as the opportunity to upskill and work on interesting projects.
Due to their work load and project wins, our client is now looking for a Quantity Surveyor in the St Albans area within the Highways/Infrastructure team. Working on nationwide projects, your time will be split between office and site with the majority of work being in the South/M4 corridor. Your main objective will be to ensure commercial results are achieved by working alongside the Project Manager(s) to maximise profit while mitigating risk.
Other objectives include:
- Preparation and agreement of final accounts with clients and subcontractors
- Providing commercial advice guidance and support to the Project team
- Managing compensation event processes with respect to D&C and TSC NEC contracts
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role and knowledge of risk management procedures
- Knowledge of Highways or Civil Engineering projects
- Understanding of NEC3 D&C and TSC and JCT contracts would be an advantage
