A leading FMCG Manufacturer based in the North Yorkshire area is currently recruiting for a Project Transformation Engineer to assume responsibility for project management of innovation / projects and all activities within those individual projects.
Role responsibilities include:
A critical role to oversee key site development and implementation projects including management of external resources, budget and schedule. It will involve collaborate with Engineering and Operations colleagues to deliver the projects with minimal disruption to production operations.
Key experience of managing water treatment and effluent plant transformation projects within an FMCG environment would be a distinct advantage.
Successful candidate responsibilities will include :
Scope, lead the design of and the execution of projects
Review existing manufacturing processes and analyse for improvements, efficiency gains, and safety. Tasks may include, daily process monitoring, trouble shooting, optimisation, cost reduction, training and coaching of manufacturing personnel.
Develop process flow diagrams, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and layout diagrams necessary to ensure installations are carried out according to project requirements..
Generation and implementation of design, construction and operational documentation for new equipment/manufacturing processes.
Prepare AutoCAD plant/equipment layouts and documentation relevant to each project
Manage contractors when on site and issue permits to work when required
Candidates should possess previous Project, Process or Product Engineering with
3+ years direct work experience in a similar role within the food or similar industry. Must be able to demonstrate previous project management and budget management skills.
