Quantity Surveyor (NEC3) - Nuclear/Defence

Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear / Defence - Newbury, Berkshire - up to £55,000 per annum (DOE)

An excellent new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with a global organisation that specialise in providing specialist services within the Nuclear and Highly Regulated sectors.

The Quantity Surveyor will provide support to the Commercial manager and personnel outside of the commercial functions.

You will work closely with the site teams, project managers, project controls function and and project accountants and you will be supporting multiple projects from tender preparation stage right through to completion. 

Essential requirements to be considered for this role:
  • A degree in Quantity surveying or a relevant subject
  • Working knowledge of NEC forms of contract
  • Pre and post contract knowledge
  • Experience of cost forecasting and reporting, cost control, cost risk management, contract documentation preparation, contract administration
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated sector is advantageous
