A leading FMCG Manufacturing business is currently looking to recruit a National Account Manager / NAM to build effective business relationships and to help drive profitable business development through pro-active account management across their Foodservice side of the business. This role will require experience in managing Foodservice accounts.

National Account Manager / NAM responsibilities include:

Maintain and build existing customer relationships and to identify potential opportunities for
growth, bearing in mind factory capabilities and profit margins.
Develop and implement targeted customer business plans, regularly reviewing them and keeping the Sales & Marketing Team informed of progress.
Support the delivery of customer business plans by accurate, realistic and updated sales forecasts and ensure corrective measures are put in place where sales fall below projections.
Measure the success of key promotions and new product launches with all customers by setting effective KPIs, liaising with the marketing department as necessary.
Proactively and effectively ensure prices and margin management are achieved with all
customers in keeping with company guidelines and budgets.
Provide monthly sales analysis into customer performances and key product developments.
Benchmark competitor products including packaging concepts and present back findings to Sales & Marketing Team on monthly basis.
Liaise with key internal stakeholders within Operations, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, NPD, Technical, SOP. to ensure effective customer service is maintained for all accounts.
Ensure that company health, safety and environmental policies are observed at all times when conducting duties or when escorting visitors/customers on site.

You will be a National Account Manager with experience managing Foodservice accounts. This role will be predominantly site based when not on client meetings.
