The client has been around for over 30 years and services the automotive industry by offering a ‘one stop shop’ for a wide range of services to a range of automotive/logistics companies.

 

They are looking to innovate and disrupt the market and are constantly looking at ways in which they can improve overall business processes and are currently working with the likes of Google Maps & Alexa to create voice recognition and chat bot facilities within their apps.

 

Responsibilities include:

-       Create, enhance, and maintain operational and analytical databases to support the application and analytics suite.


-       Collaborate with other members of the R&D team to ensure database performance, stability, quality and commercial success


-       Responsible for investigating and resolving technical and customer-specific issues, and the preparation of ad-hoc reports and queries


-       Lead selected projects, sprints or work packages as and when required


-       Develop the capability of the team and department through mentoring of other team members.


-       Managing overall optimization of the data warehouse

 

Experience Required:


-       T-SQL – to have dealt with large data sets and tuned and optimized complex stored procedures


-       SQL experience – Ideally with Azure SQL


-       Worked with Production Databases


-       SSIS


-       Database Disaster Recovery


-       ETL


-       Supporting the Development of data warehouses


-       Create and maintain BI datasets and dashboards
