Working for a very well known player in the PHP community, our client is looking for a mid level develoeper to come on board to take the next step up in their career in order to deliver high levels of coding to their diverse industry client base. 

Responsibilities

-          Getting involved in all aspects of the SDLC & practising BDD

-          Developing and writing exceptional PHP code

-           Release open source bundles, like GoogleMapsBundle and gassetic

-          Developing features and solutions for rapidly growing client base

-          Harnessing the power of a distributed, scalable server environment

 

Key Skills Required


-          Excellent knowledge of PHP and design patterns 

-          Must have worked to one of the following frameworks: Laravel, Magento and Symfony

-          MySQL

-          HTML5

-          CSS3

-          JavaScript

-          Database (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

-          Web Servers (Apache/Nginx)

-          Agile


Skills Considered Desirable:

-          Additional programming languages such as: Python, Ruby, Java, Perl, NodeJS, C++, C#

-          Modern JS Framework(jQuery, Ember, Angular, React, ExtJS etc

-          Symfony 2 PHP

-          System Administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows, OSX etc)

-          Application experience (WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Silverstripe etc.)
