Electrical Supervisor – HMP Haverigg
Candidates must hold either: Active SC Clearance or EL1 Prison Clearance

Location: HMP Haverigg
Start Date: 5th October or 12th October 2026
⏳ Contract: 3 months initially, with the potential to extend up to 12 months
Rate: £350 per day
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Overtime: No overtime

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to work at HMP Haverigg, overseeing a team of electricians carrying out fire alarm installation works.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supervising a team of electricians on site
• Overseeing the installation of fire alarm systems
• Ensuring works are completed correctly and to the required standards
• Monitoring the quality and progress of electrical installation works
• Ensuring site safety and procedures are followed
• Supporting the team with any technical or installation queries

Requirements

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent
• Valid CSCS Card
• SSSTS
• Previous experience supervising teams of electricians
• Experience overseeing electrical installation works

Candidates must hold either:

• Active SC Clearance or EL1 Prison Clearance

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor looking for a long-term contract, with the initial 3-month contract expected to extend up to 12 months.
