Senior Piping Engineer
Location: Aberdeen (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office)

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Piping Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Aberdeen. Working within a multidisciplinary project environment, you will be responsible for delivering piping engineering activities across a range of onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and interpret piping engineering documentation.
- Produce and check engineering calculations, specifications, schedules and technical deliverables.
- Supervise piping designers and coordinate workload across the team.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant industry codes, standards and procedures.
- Provide technical input to project cost estimates and execution plans.
- Monitor and maintain discipline progress throughout project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, project teams and other engineering disciplines.
- Participate in HAZOP studies, model reviews, constructability reviews and other key project meetings.
- Support senior engineering personnel with discipline-related activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
- Significant experience in piping engineering within the onshore and/or offshore oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of piping and plant layout codes, standards and industry best practice.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Knowledge of project controls and project delivery processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
