Machine Minder
Location: North Manchester
Salary: £37000 plus benefits
We’re recruiting for a Machine Minders to join a well-established manufacturing business in North Manchester. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production lines running efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing
- Operate and monitor machinery to meet production targets
- Carry out basic maintenance (cleaning, inspection, lubrication, set-ups)
- Perform minor repairs and part changes
- Record machine performance using CMMS
- Support safe working practices, including LOTO
- Assist with changeovers and continuous improvement activities
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams
What you’ll need
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Basic mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Team player with good communication skills
- A great attitude to work and the desire to grow your career
