We’re seeking highly skilled Mechanical Technicians with SC or DV clearance to join a high‑profile project at a nuclear and defence facility based in Aldermaston, Reading.
Rate: £38.17/hr (CIS)
⏰ Hours: Up to 12‑hour days, Monday to Friday — plus weekends where available
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in delivering essential mechanical work, including:

Installation, assembly, and dismantling of equipment

Plant operations and maintenance activities

Working within both workshop and site environments

Ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at all times
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
-
SC or DV level nuclear clearance (SC holders must be willing to progress to DV)

NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline
-
At least 2 years’ nuclear/defence industry experience

Minimum 5 years’ mechanical industry experience
Desirable:

Experience with Swagelok fittings
