Senior Risk Manager / Risk Manager
Location: London & Southeast (Hybrid Working – 37.5 hours/week, Flexible Working Model)
Type: Permanent, Client-Facing Consultancy Role
Salary: £65,000 – £85,000 (depending on experience) + £4,000 car/transport allowance

A leading global consultancy is expanding its integrated risk function within its London and Southeast business, and is looking for talented Senior Risk Managers and Risk Managers to join the team. With a strong pipeline of major infrastructure and defence programmes across the UK, this is an opportunity to work on some of the most complex and high-impact projects currently underway.

You’ll be joining a fast-growing, high-performing risk team embedded within major client environments, where you'll provide trusted advice and critical insights that shape project outcomes. This role is client-facing and could see you operating as part of a broader team or as the go-to risk lead on smaller, high-value assignments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering end-to-end risk management support across complex projects and programmes

  • Facilitating risk identification workshops and building comprehensive risk registers

  • Leading qualitative and quantitative risk assessments (QRA)

  • Running integrated cost and schedule risk analysis using industry-standard tools

  • Providing strategic advice on risk mitigation and scenario planning

  • Engaging directly with senior stakeholders and programme leadership teams

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in risk management within infrastructure, defence, or capital projects

  • Strong working knowledge of risk methodologies, governance, and best practice

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, or Safran Risk

  • Comfortable presenting to clients and working in a fast-paced consultancy environment

  • Eligible to obtain SC or DV clearance (clearance already held is a plus)

About the employer:

This firm is one of the most respected and forward-thinking consultancies in the UK, known for shaping major national programmes across transport, defence, energy, and the public sector. With over 10,000 employees globally and more than 4,000 in the UK alone, they continue to invest heavily in digital innovation, data analytics, and AI to support smarter decision-making across the entire project lifecycle.

What’s on offer:

  • Hybrid working with flexible working hours

  • Annual £4,000 car or transport allowance

  • Fast-track career progression through a structured development pathway

  • Support toward chartership and professional qualifications

  • Competitive salary, yearly pay reviews, and enhanced benefits

  • Access to major UK programmes from day one

If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely influence the outcome of nationally significant projects—and grow your career in a forward-thinking, supportive environment—this is the opportunity for you.
