About the Role:
Our client are a leading provider of engineering services to the Nuclear and Defence industry. Their work spans the full system lifecycle, supporting the development of high-integrity systems in complex, high-hazard, and heavily regulated environments.

They are currently seeking a Requirements Engineer (or a Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineer with strong requirements capture experience) to support ongoing and future nuclear-focused projects. • Define and manage design interfaces and produce Interface Control Documents.
  • Contribute to system architecture, Verification & Validation strategy development, and trial design.
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, external clients, and regulatory bodies.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrable experience in requirements engineering within the nuclear sector.
  • Systems Engineers with broad lifecycle experience who are willing to specialise in requirements engineering will be considered.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineers with significant experience in requirements capture and analysis will also be considered, provided they have nuclear sector exposure.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical, high-integrity systems in regulated environments.
  • Proficiency with requirements management and modelling tools (e.g. IBM DOORS, Sparx EA).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Why This Role?

  • Opportunity to contribute to national security and energy infrastructure.
  • Work with a respected consultancy delivering trusted engineering solutions to major clients.
  • Join projects at the cutting edge of nuclear systems engineering.
  • Flexible working options and opportunities for professional growth.
