DV Cleared- Project Manager (Electrical Bias) - Defence – Reading
Due to rapid and sustained expansion, an opportunity has emerged for a Project Manager to join our client’s dynamic team, delivering consultancy services, Engineering solutions and site operations support to some of the UK’s leading Defence contractors.
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee decommissioning projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards while optimising the company's financial and reputational benefits. The successful candidate will be dedicated to upholding established safety, quality, environmental, and security standards, as well as contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage decommissioning projects in strict accordance with predefined safety, quality, environmental, and security standards, as well as contractual terms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders and manage all aspects of project delivery.
- Take the lead in managing safety performance throughout the project.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree or HND in project management or a related engineering discipline.
- IOSH 'Managing Safely' certification or an equivalent formal Health & Safety qualification.
- Proven experience in delivering NEC Contracts.
- Client-side project management experience.
The ideal candidate would need to have a track record of success working with NEC3 contracts, especially the Option C target price arrangements, and a thorough understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
Current DV clearance is essential for this role.
