A global state of the art FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a CTS Engineer / Customer Technical Engineer to join the team. This CTS Engineer / Customer Technical Engineer will assume responsibility for travelling to customer sites & support process of In-House Blow Moulding operations in UK & Ireland. Drinks, Plastics, Personal care, Packaging experience desirable.

This role is remote working and can be flexible base wise.

CTS Engineer / Customer Technical Engineer responsibilities include:

Travel to customer sites & support process of In-House Blow Moulding operations in UK & Ireland. Supporting preform material changes
New Product Introduction
Light-Weighting of existing products
Recycled material trials (rPET)
General technical support for process/product fault finding and resolution of bottle quality issues. Requirement to record key activities whilst onsite and issue a report to the customer following the visit
Fault finding, recipe management & energy best practices
Ability to set, adjust and manage product recipes for blow moulding machines.
Good knowledge of blow-moulding machinery on various platforms
Strong problem solving skills
Mechanical hands on experience for tool changes and solving mechanical issues
Confident customer facing with the ability to communicate well at all levels
Ability to self-motivate and work well within a small team
Working remotely at customer sites
Flexibility to travel to customer sites at short notices
Ability to plan and coordinate own travel to meet customer support requirements
Microsoft skills with the ability to produce and present statistical information

You will be a Mechanical/electrical apprentice level training or higher and have former experience within a Drinks / Plastics Manufacturing environment. Good knowledge of Blow Moulding machinery such as Krones, Sidel, Kosmi & SMI preferred.
