Project Manager - Infrastructure

Outside IR35

Our Client is an award winning privately owned Civil, Structural and Rail consultancy.  They have been awarded various framework agreements with both public and private sector clients.

Due to an increase in work, an opportunity has arisen for a Client facing Senior Project Manager to support them with a Housing infrastructure project in Greater Manchester.

Key Duties include:

• Project reporting – maintenance and presentation of current project Dashboard, Monthly basis.
• Cost management – Production and management of a cashflow forecast for workstream delivery, combined as an overarching WBS
• Presentation at project board level on a monthly basis the project progress and any associated information on KPI’s Health and Safety.
• Schedule management – production and management of a project schedule displaying all workstreams individually and then as an overarching schedule.
• Risk Management – production of a programme risk registers and ongoing management.
• Stakeholder management – Developed stakeholder management plan, stakeholder communication and consultation as required.
• Communications management – livery of communications at all levels required through the project delivery.
• Change management – managing all levels of change through the project delivery ensuring project sponsor acceptance of changes introduced.
• Procurement strategy – assisting in the preparation of tender documentation and review of works information package. Review of procurement strategy and contracts required to ensure all areas are covered.
• Liaise with design manager on behalf of the client to ensure the design is following an agreed design review process and technical review is completed in accordance with the schedule.
• CDM Assurance on behalf of the Client.
• Ensuring completion of Legal Agreements as required
• Overseeing completion of H&S file following completion of the works.
• Contract administration in accordance with the contract.
• Chair Site progress meetings and other design review meetings - completing the duties of an NEC PM
