Civil Structural Engineer   (Outside IR35)

Our Client is an award winning private Civil, Structural and rail consultancy.  They have successfully won various framework agreements throughout the UK, with both public and private sector clients.

An opportunity has arisen for a Civil / Structural Engineer to produce and oversee scheme designs, reports and documentation in accordance with specified briefs and in line with the time and budgetary allocations.
Assist in the overall delivery of the workload of the Structures team. 
Reporting to a Team Manager, the Engineer will work alongside a CAD technician to design and manage a variety of civil / structural engineering schemes; values varying from £0.1-1.0M.
Reinforced concrete design, drainage, and earthworks, as well as carry out risk assessments, communicate/manage contractors etc.
Requirements are:

  • Civil Structural Engineering graduate with 5+ years of experience.
  • Ability to work independently and supervise CAD Technician
  • Rail industry experience (preferred, not essential)
  • Chartered or near chartered status (not essential if they are not progressing their professional qualifications)

Day rate charge rate based on 7 hours per day = £231-245 / day (equivalent to £33-35/h) 
6-12 month contract position
Outside IR35
WFH/Cheshire (2-3 days per week)
