Are you a Laboratory Technician/Analyst or Analytical Chemist looking to make the next step in your career?
Do you want to play a part in the synthesis, analysis and manufacture of synthetic organic substances and drug products?
You have the opportunity to join this market leading pharmaceutical company as an Analytical Chemist. In your new role you will develop and validate analytical methods for new and existing processes and provide efficient and effective analytical support to the Quality Control Department.
Your duties include:
- Performing method development tasks, method transfers, validations, forced degradation and stability studies, including the preparation of protocols and reports
- Conducting regular literature and other searches (electronic databases, journals and Pharmacopeia) in order to maintain an up‐to‐date knowledge of analytical chemistry, regulatory requirements and industry trends
- Preparing and reviewing customer reports and technical documents
- Preparing and reviewing protocols, SOPs and policies to agreed timelines
- Technical review of assays for stability, evaluation, method transfer and characterisation against SOPs, protocols and GMP principles
- Ensuring delivery of project targets to the agreed standard, reporting progress as required
- Diligent and traceable documentation of laboratory experiments
- You have a degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- You have laboratory experience in a regulated environment
- You have knowledge of cGMP requirements relating to development of APIs and drug products
