£30,900 – (rising to £37080 after 6-8 week training period), pension, life assurance
Shift pattern is complex, a 20 weeks cycle mix of 12 hour days and nights including weekends, with rostered holidays. Breaks are a 7, 9 and 16 day break in each 20 week cycle plus rest days in between working periods.
A fantastic opportunity to join our clients plant team looking after the running of the fuel storage facility. The role requires someone to complete duties such as truck loading with chemicals, working on the jetty, stock control, operating heavy machinery so FLT license would be beneficial, work in confined spaces and operating the terminals automated systems (training provided).
The role will suit someone used to working as an operator in the process industry, or manufacturing sector, working with pipework, fuel, FLT’s, rigging operations or similar type work. The individual will be comfortable working on shifts and keen to in the long term progress their career, as this client will support your professional development if you have the attitude to do so.
- To ensure safe and efficient terminal operations
- Load and discharge trucks to shore tanks as directed by terminal systems
- Use manual gauges to sample shore tanks
- Operate and control fuel jetty when needed
- Housekeeping duties across the storage facility
- Assist with tank cleaning
- Work with site health and safety rules
- Drive a FLT (license beneficial)
- 5 GCSE – A-C
- Experience working within process operations (chemical, fuel, Oil & Gas or related field)
- FLT licence beneficial
