A leading FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Techical Manager / Quality Manager / Head of Quality. Reporting to the Operations Director, the Quality Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the Food Safety & Quality Management System with potential scope for leading Safety, Health And Environmental agenda. This role will be responsible for leading a team and driving the development and continual improvement of the food safety and quality culture, in alignment with BRC, AIB, GMP and ISO9001.

Quality Manager responsibilities:
Key member of the Senior Leadership Team, helping to develop and deploy the business strategy and policies.
Lead site wide engagement in the quality agenda and to continue the development of food safety culture
Foster excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Drive change and continuous improvement.
Develop modern, standardised and structured systems and procedures, designed to improve performance.
Lead and develop the Quality department, using a consistent approach to organisational development, coaching, performance management, training and feedback.
Ensure the food safety, quality and legality of all products manufactured on site.
Maintain the site’s third-party certifications and qualifications, as well as customer-specific site approvals.
Manage the internal and external audits programmes, ensuring all audits and corrective actions are completed effectively and on-time.

You will be a Quality Manager / Head of Quality / Technical Manager, ideally degree qualified / equivalent and be able to deliver change, innovation and results using project management principles and techniques.
You will have a proven track record in leading behavioural and cultural change; being a commercial decision maker with business acumen and exemplary problem solving skills.
This role will require someone who is hands-on and used to working at pace within an FMCG Manufacturing environment (food, beverage, personal care or packaging).
