We are currently looking for a JIB Approved Electrical Technician in the South East Region. 

We are working on behalf of a trusted high performance and multi-disciplined MEICA engineering technology company with an established and long-term client base

They work with a broad range of commercial and industrial clients in the water treatment, quarrying, nuclear and waste recycling sectors.

The Role: 
  • Safe and cost effective delivery of electrical installations in line with H&S policies 
  • Managing the completion of site installation work ensuring work in on schedule and within budget including:
    • Planning the work efficiently in order to meet agreed deadlines
    • Ordering materials and ensuring that the correct materials are on site when required
    • Interpretation of site drawing and project information 
    • Carrying out installation works on site 
    • Assisting with testing and commissioning of installations 
    • Liaising with other contractors 
    • Monitor and Inspect the quality of work on site to ensure work is completed right the first time
    • Undertaking and Recording statutory inspections of plant and equipment 
    • Report all accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Ensuring health and safety of yourself and those around you
  • Ensuring the quality of your work on site is completed right the first time and to the companies standards.
Your Requirements:
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • 2391 Test and Inspection (or equivalent) 
  • 2394/5 Test and Inspection (or equivalent)
  • EUSR Clean Water card
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider
  • Fitness to work medical
  • Panel wiring experience (Preferred)
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures
  • Willingness to learn and undertake occupational and Health and Safety training
  • Numeric and reading skills
  • Prepared to take responsibility for self and others
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to give and take instruction
