UK headquartered, global provider of integrated laboratory Services and Products seeking to add an experienced Laboratory Manager to join and lead their Blood and Tissue services production laboratory  team based in Lancashire.

The role:

As the Laboratory Manager you will be responsible for the coordination, manufacturing, QC and supervision of the day-today activities of the Blood and Tissue services production team.

You will be working with the team and internal departments to forge new ways of working through the team and focusing on providing outstanding results.

You will bring with you knowledge/experience and ideas around implementing new products and services into the business.

You will also:
  • Set the standard internally
  • Manage and lead the Blood and Tissue Services production Team
  • Provide technical advise to the sales and support teams
  • Contribute and support across internal audits
  • Drive continuous improvement culture
  • Manage workloads internally
  • Provide regular updates tot eh Senior Leadership Team
  • Maintain the QMS , SOP and Asset management tools
 
Ideally you will come from a similar background, or perhaps from a similar role in the NHS.

You will be an experienced laboratory manager with significant experience including key areas such as haematology.
