QC Analyst (Permanent)
£25,000-£29,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

A well known Pharmaceutical CMO is currently seeking a permanent QC Analyst to join their team. The QC Analyst is reporting into the QC Manager and will be responsible for transferring testing methods into the QC laboratory as well as performing various analytical tests on raw materials and in process pharmaceutical products, primarily in HPLC and GC.

QC Analyst's responsibilities include:
  • To transfer methodology into the business, to perform routine laboratory procedures, and to perform project work within the department.
  • To carry out projects within the Department and at international level, as required.
  • To prepare technical documentation within the Department, as required.
  • To assist in the development and validation of laboratory procedures within the team, as required.
  • To train others as required.
  • To review analytical and laboratory data within the Department for accuracy, completeness and compliance with documented procedures.
  • To communicate effectively with others on site and internationally, and to participate with them in problem solving activities, as required.
  • To assist in the development and validation of laboratory procedures within the team and with other organisations internationally, as required. This includes but is not limited to purchase & qualification of equipment.
  • Ensure cGMP is applied in their area of work and comply with cGMP in all areas of the business.
  • To carry out any other tasks which may be required from time to time
 
The Successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience within a pharmaceutical  GMP environment. In addition you will hold a Pharmaceutical, Chemistry or Scientific based degree.
