The client, a market leader in providing online payment systems is looking for a 1st/2nd Line Support Executive to join their ever growing IT team. They are looking for a dynamic, committed and resourceful individual who will enjoy demanding & fast-paced environments. To succeed, you will need to enjoy a multi-faceted role demanding effective prioritisation, excellent time management and multi-tasking skills and be able to flourish while working at pace.


You would be responsible for:


  • To log tickets on the service desk logging system
  • Working well under pressure whilst remaining professional
  • To train and assist end users & service desk employees on new and current hardware, technologies and operating systems.
  • Working closely with the Support Manager to go through help-desk tickets and be the first point of contact for faults/issues
  • Calling clients to update on the status of the fault resolution
  • Assign tickets to developers to resolve and follow up on progress
  • Prioritise tickets in order of urgency
  • Adhere to company wide SLA’s
  • Full training given on the CRM and applications
  • Giving excellent levels of customer service


Personal Specification

  • Active Directory Experience
  • Windows server 2008, 2012, 2016
  • Microsoft SQL Server administration
  • Sharepoint administration
  • Virtualisation Management Experience
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Interest in technology
  • Someone organised who does well under pressure
  • Someone that clients are happy to liaise with over issues
  • Works well within a team
  • Problem solving mentality
