Process Engineer Job in London – Oil & Gas

Due to continued growth an opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer to join a leading Oil Product logistics organisation.

My client’s infrastructures consist of a pipeline network of 2,000+ kilometres, which represents 50% of the British pipeline network, and 13 storage facilities. Providing its services to several military facilities and some of the main airports in the United Kingdom my client is the main fuel pipeline and storage facility network in that country.

The Process Engineer will report to the Technical Authority Manager and act as Technical Authority for process Engineering, ensuring risk to safe operations are recognised, assessed and appropriately mitigated as well as FEED and detailed design process discipline activities for a leading Oil storage and Logistics organisation.

 

The Process Engineers responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Process design and detail engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, process optimisation, sizing and selection of equipment
  • Conducting site surveys, preparation or P&IDs and PFDs
  • Co-ordinating management of change design reviews
  • Preparing commissioning plans and procedures
  • Leading in the identification and scoping projects and plant modifications
  • Preparing process data sheets and technical specifications, including performance and quality requirements
  • Managing vendors and tenders including responding to vendor clarifications/ technical queries
 




The ideal candidate:
  • Relevant Chemical Engineering degree
  • Significant process design experience
  • Brownfield modification experience
