Training and learning opportunities are all around
The future of Scantec is based upon the investments we make today, and we focus on engagement while continually improving skill sets.
Our focus is on pursuing our purpose while embedding learning and development into our business.
Opportunities to learn are all around, and we are committed to providing opportunities to build your knowledge and abilities.
What can I expect to get me going?
We start planning for your development long before you join us. Our Learning & Development manager works closely with the Team Managers to identify the need in their business and will create a tailored development plan for the role. As we invest so much in establishing the right person for the right role, it is vital to us that we give you the right knowledge and skills to be competent in the job. We achieve this through:
- A welcome induction – teaching you all about Scantec and what you need to know about working with us
- Face to face training – in our own training suite
- E-Learning modules – written specifically to help you learn not only ‘what’ to do and ‘how’ to do it but more importantly why – we have taken practices from some of the most consistent high performers and converted them into training.
- Experiential learning – whilst the theory is great and certainly necessary, our people are supported at their desks such as shadowing, practice, feedback and coaching to continually learn, develop and improve.
Our managers are trained to help guide your career, and user-friendly learning tools are readily available for personal and professional self-improvement.
Scantec became the first Institute of Recruiters Centre of Excellence which has been a testament to our achievements so far. All recruitment professionals are able to study towards the Certificate in Professional Agency Recruitment, a qualification that focuses on all aspects of the recruitment process with seven key stages: from the management of client expectations through to sales and follow -up.
