A leading FMCG Manufacturer in the Southwest is now seeking a commercially focused Site Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Operations Director, the Site Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership across production, engineering, HSE and technical to deliver goods at highest quality to a profit.

The successful Site Manager will have previous FMCG experience in a World Class Manufacturing environment, ideally within a food / beverage / pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in a senior Production / Operations / manufacturing management position. You will have a key eye for financials and interpreting KPI data to deliver strategic production management plans as well as strong leadership of cross functional teams and exceptional customer service skills. Experience of CAPEX and project management skills would also be an advantage due to continuing site development and growth plans.

Site Manager Responsibilities include:
Overall leadership and management of site including: production, engineering, HSE, Quality.
Define, analyse and manage key financials including site budget, cost analysis, CAPEX
Monitor and analyse the current system of production to check its effectiveness, developing year on year improvement strategies
Develop short, mid and long-term strategy for the site to deliver future capacity
Proactively analyse statistics, preparing reports and interrogating the data to continuously improve operations
Direct, lead and implement strategic business partnering with all functions to deliver efficiencies and savings
Lead & project manage specific projects to deliver more efficient value chain and cost savings
Manage 3rd parties using tools such as predictive product cost modeling and “lean” to deliver projects on time, on budget
Implement effective manufacturing, logistics, distribution, planning, inventory management
Streamline all processes to reduce waste & increase efficiency
Negotiate & manage contracts, tenders & contractual obligations
