(rotating shift pattern which includes nights)

£22,000 - £30,000 plus overtime

FMCG Food Manufacturing


A large food manufacturing company are currently seeking a Lead Production Operative to work at their Liverpool based site on a permanent basis.  The main purpose of the role will be to be able to operate the full production process and the equipment involved. You will be providing technical guidance, care and maintenance of production equipment and supporting the Shift Team Leader on a day to day basis.

Key Accountability for Lead Production Operative –


  • Operate manufacturing equipment.
  • Complete in-process testing.
  • Complete basic maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
  • Palletised stock control via FLT loading and offloading.
  • Provide cover for Shift Team Leader while they are away from the factory.
  • Take part in QC testing on finished products.

To be considered for this role you must have worked in a relevant role for a food or drink manufacturing company.  You must be safety conscious and have a FLT licence. You mist also have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be flexible when it comes to working hours.
