Continuous Improvement Lead (CI Coordinator)
Up to £40,000.00 (DOE)

A leading FMCG manufacturer are currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Project Coordinator (CI Project Coordinator) / Continuous Improvement Project Manager (CI Project Manager) to implement lean across the site. This is a project based role to assist in the planning, control and co-ordination all aspects of the projects for the Manufacturing function.

You will be a CI Project Coordinator / CI Project Coordinator used to implementing lean principles into a high paced manufacturing facility and process analysis and improvement experience. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully lead and facilitate cross functional teams through all phases of project lifecycles and manage at all levels. A Lean or Six Sigma Qualification would be deemed highly desirable.

CI Project Coordinator responsibilities include:

Work closely within the Manufacturing team to achieve all key performance indicators.
Involved with the design and implementation of relevant projects.
Develop and deliver proposals and suitable justifications for the continued development of the factory SOP’s and Processes.
Lead and facilitate operations teams in implementation of improvements to reduce costs, and improve efficiencies in conjunction with the business CI Plan.
Engagement of people at all levels on CI matters, to develop a culture of change for the benefit of site improvement.
Coach and train colleagues in skills and knowledge to apply CI concepts and tools on an ongoing basis.
Challenge the status quo and support the Continuous Improvement Manager in creating a best practice culture to focuses on improvement of process, reduction of waste and development of colleagues to deliver a continuous improvement culture.
