My client is a growing pharmaceutical business and due to expansion, they are looking for a Analytical Scientist to join the business on a permanent basis.

They are offering a varied and rewarding opportunity as an Analytical scientist to a team of Analytical scientists.

this role reqiuires you to develop and validate analytical methods for new and existing processes with minimal supervision. Provision of efficient and effective analytical support for the Quality Control Department

Duties include:
  • Perform efficient and effective method development tasks, method transfers, validations, forced degradation and stability studies, including the preparation of protocols and reports as required
  • Conduct regular literature and other searches (electronic databases, journals and Pharmacopeia) in order to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of analytical chemistry, up-to-date regulatory requirements and, current industry trends especially those that relate to bile acids and natural products
  • Prepare and review customer reports and technical documents as required
  • Prepare and review protocols, SOPs and policies to agreed timelines as defined by the Quality Manager
  • Technical review of assays for stability, evaluation, method transfer and characterisation against SOPs, protocols and GMP principles
To be considered for this role, you should have:
  • Strong history of laboratory experience specialising in analytical chemistry in a regulated environment
  • Proficient with cGMP requirements relating to development of APIs and drug products.
  • Graduate in chemistry or biochemistry
