Materials Planner responsibilities include:
Support the review of MRP requirements for all additives and colourants, place POs as required to
ensure availability to satisfy production schedule.
Review material handling systems to ensure optimised allocation of material for production requirements. Run the reconciliation process on a daily basis.
Review discrepancies in the system to determine route cause.
Manage material call off vs contract to ensure we optimise call off against preferred contract.
Run the S&OP cycle for material planning and complexity.
Provide forward forecast of site to group procurement, tracking deviations against contract.
Produces reports and provide timely feedback to the Planning Manager on any planning related issues.
Engage and support in continuous improvement activities and lean manufacturing initiatives
You will be a Materials Planner used to working within a high speed Manufacturing environment and be numerically orientated with excellent attention to detail.
You will have a high standard of computer literacy with strong MS Excel skills, (experience of SAP and other ERP systems is desirable)
