Primarily based in the North West, our client needs a JIB Approved Electrician with 2391 (or equivalent) testing qualification to deliver electrical work across Rail, Water and Oil and Gas sites within typically an hour radius of their Greater Manchester branch.
You will primarily work on the tools on various planned works as scheduled by your intendent.
This is the perfect position for an approved Electrician to progress with the admin & office side of the role including RAMs, Orders, Planning, Costs etc as from time to time, you will be required to lead small teams and complete site visits and surveys.
Initially you should expect to spend 80% of your time on the tools and 20% leading teams and in the office.
Rail work is centred on the LNW line and the TruEast Alliance
Experience with United Utilities would be beneficial.

- JIB Approved Electrician
- C&G 2391 or equivalent
- ECS Gold Card
- Full UK driving License (Van provided)
As the role develops, further training and sector opportunities could be provided should the business require, making this position the perfect opportunity for a lead Electrician to develop their careers, competencies and professional qualifications to supervision level.
This role can be nationwide and will require an element of working from home (hotel etc. paid for by client)
It’s likely you’ll need to stay away from home 3 days per month. Staying away from home is kept to an absolute minimum.
