An opportunity has arisen for an EC&I Project Engineer to join a specialist Engineering solutions provider to the Nuclear and Defence industries.
The EC&I Project Engineer is accountable to the Engineering Manager and will provide technical knowledge, guidance and support to deliver projects, ensuring that all actions, activities and outputs underpin the integrity, expertise and competency of the company.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Originating EC&I designs to develop effective solutions and subsequently prepare and present these proposals direct to stakeholders and colleagues
Supporting the sub-contractor’s production of EC&I designs
Providing project and engineering support to subcontractors, suppliers and clients as appropriate
Design development and detailed design activities for:
o Control system design (DCS)
o Fire alarm design
A working knowledge of relevant standards, codes and directives and experience of working with safety functional requirements in a regulated design environment are essential.
