Twickenham, Epsom, Croydon, Chertsey, Woking, Leatherhead, Guilford, Crawley, Reading, South London, South East.

A leading FMCG Food manufacturer is currently seeking a Factory Manager to lead, develop and motivate the production team to implement a long term business strategy by developing and delivering improvement plans whilst driving continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Site Director, the successful Factory Manager will have previous experience within a chilled / high risk manufacturing environment and have experience in change management and ideally change management.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Production Manager / Shift Production Manager who is seeking an opportunity to advance their career and step up to a Factory Manager position.

Factory Manager responsibilities:

Provide leadership, direction and support to the site
Development of the annual manufacturing strategy.
Review the performance of all key members of the team and regularly set SMART objectives and targets.
Develop the annual H&S plan for areas of responsibility, setting clear targets and objectives for the teams.
Reduce energy costs across the business
Lead on CI and capex improvement projects
Ensure that waste, labour material standards and energy efficiencies are adhered to by the team, and continue to seek to improve these standards.
Implement improvement strategies for machinery utilisation and monitor effectiveness of these strategies on a weekly basis.

You will be an experienced Manufacturing Manager / Production Manager / Shift Manager used to leading a chilled / high risk production environment.
