The successful Logistics Manager / Warehouse Manager will lead, coach and mentor the team and have overall responsibility for P&L, SLA’s, KPI’s, training and development. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and a proven track record of managing warehouse and logistics operations within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Head of Logistics include:
Overall responsibility for operational excellence of the group warehouse division, managing all aspects of warehouse / logistics operations.
Have responsibility for the financial aspects of the logistics / warehouse division.
Lead, direct, mentor, coach and upskill the Logistics / Warehouse team.
Ensure return on revenue through specific and effective planning.
Meet and agreed KPI’s and SLA’s.
Ensure any contractual issues, pricing and scope adjustments are dealt with effectively.
Support with problem solving, find solutions and ways of working more efficiently.
You will be a strong People Manager with knowledge of delivering change / transformation projects. You will be commercially aware with knowledge of business planning and financial analysis along with excellent negotiation and project management skills.
