Mechanical Calibration Engineer
£25-30k depending upon experience + 23 days holiday rising to 27 days with service + 8 days bank holiday, Pension, Life insurance, Working hours Monday to Friday 6:45 to 15:45 with 30 minute unpaid break followed by Monday to Thursday 6:45 to 15:45 with Friday off

A fantastic opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer with an interest in calibration to join an established engineering services provider on a customer site in Derby joining a team of 4.

The role suits someone with a mechanical background, who will work on a range of equipment including torque wrenches, micrometres, height gauges, depth gauges, screw callipers, setting rigs amongst other mechanical handheld measuring equipment used within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Essentially, should you have a background calibrating/maintaining tools/handheld equipment and are looking for an opportunity to join a large stable business then this opportunity could be well suited for you.

This role requires security clearance, the successful candidate will be based at the Nottingham site in a training and development capacity until the security clearance process is complete and then the full time permanent post will commence at the customer’s location in Derby.

Prior knowledge of these specific measuring devices is highly desired. All ranges of experience will be considered as the team are highly skilled and can train and develop the right person, although those who can hit the ground running are also encouraged to apply.

This will provide long term secure employment for the successful candidate with opportunities to progress further within the business longer term.
