A leading FMCG Food manufacturer is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join their team.

The successful Operations Manager will lead and direct the operations team, monitoring and analysing all information relating to performance, budget and yield ensuring cost saving plans are developed whilst driving high standards throughout.

You will be an experienced Food Manufacturing Operations Manager used to working within a high paced, preferably chilled food manufacturing facility.  Previous experience of working as part of a senior management team, as well as managing a large production team is essential, along with proven track record in CI and Lean Manufacturing.

Operations Manager responsibilities include:
Lead the site in the development of operating goals / objectives for the unit and delivery of business plan.
Recommend, implement, and administer methods and procedures to enhance business operations.
Be an enthusiastic, engaging, positive, self-motivated and pro-active leader, committed to successfully achieving goals and objectives.
Achieve significant and sustainable improvement in capability/standards across the business.
Understand and manage the strategic and financial needs and goals of the business.
Ensure the plant utilisation is protected through continuous awareness of the sales forecasting and planning functions.
Maintain a high level of service to internal and external customers.
Ensure effective and relevant information is communicated across the business.
Lead, coach and mentor the operations team.
