Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful Shift Manager will be responsible for managing a team therefore previous supervisory experience within a fast paced food manufacturing environment is necessary for this role.
You will be an inspirational, passionate, engaging, driven leader who is able to drive a continuous improvement culture and understands labour costs and HR policies.
Production Shift Leader responsibilities include:
Direct, lead and motivate the team to achieve daily production goals.
Personal development of the team, holding regular appraisals, 121 reviews and arrange any training needs.
Drive an improvement culture and support with CI projects.
Understand labour budget and ensure this is achieved.
Manage and plan rota and holidays.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Ensure quality, safety, hygiene procedures are complied with.
