The Quality Manager will be responsible for delivering best practice in regards to quality assurance and quality control practices in line with GMP / ISO standards. You will be responsible for overseeing, planning, coordinating and developing QA/ QC processes as well as maintaining / developing standard operating procedures.
Key responsibilities of the QA Manager include:
Manage / deliver progress of quality practices
Improve internal and external quality and non-conformance
Improve customer complaints
Lead internal audits ensuring areas are audit ready
Control and manage quality system documents
Recognise training where required and deliver
Log customer complaints and investigate through root cause analysis
Develop and maintain quality metrics to company and client requirements
Review policies and procedures driving a continuous improvement culture
Observe health and safety and promote a quality culture
Drive certification efforts to comply with recognised standards; ISO, GMP etc
You will have a clear understanding of GMP, strong communication and leadership skills along with excellent presentation skills. Any experience within a print or graphics manufacturing environment would be deemed advantageous.
Please note you will need to be flexible as there will be some travel out of the UK required for this role.
