Based: Kings Lynn
We have two roles for this client, on alternative shifts, 4 on 4 off and Monday to Friday 6/2 2/10 and 10/6.
Our client are one of UK's leading multisite manufacturers in the UK, a multi million pound business with ongoing success and expansion plans on the majority of their UK sites. This position is based on their site in Kings Lynn which is one of their largest UK production sites. As a business we have worked with this company for a while and they have full commitment in their training and development for all new and existing employees. The role is hands on engineering; you’ll join their growing team of engineers responsible for the repair and maintenance of the manufacturing equipment, the role is multi skilled so if you have a background covering both electrical and mechanical faults and PPM’s then this role could be really well suited. You’ll conduct route cause analysis and investigations into issues that occur on the lines ensuring repeat failures don’t occur. You’ll assist with the scheduled planned maintenance (PPM) programme and also reactive maintenance on breakdowns when they occur, ensuring production is back up and running as quickly as possible with minimal disruption.

In terms of you’re background you will preferably be a maintenance engineer/technician working within a manufacturing business commutable to Kings Lynn. If you have good exposure electrically and mechanically we can consider you for this role.
You will be given full training within the position lasting possibly up to 12 months. So if you’re used to working in an engineering team and assisting one another learn and develop then this environment might suit you well.
-Electrical or mechanical qualification to Level 3 C&G, NVQ or equivalent
-The ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and drawing manuals
-Experience working within a manufacturing environment
-Time served apprenticeship is preferable
This role has a salary of £35000 - £45000 (including shift allowance and depending on shift)
