Scantec are working in partnership with a well established and globally operating engineering services contractor and assisting them in finding a Commercial Manager to join their team on a permanent basis based in Grangemouth, Stirling.

You will be working with a leading industrial services provider who are currently supporting a number frameworks across Oil & Gas, Process and Energy.

Key tasks:
• Manage the collection and collation of information to ensure that contractual and legal requirement are met for the submission and payment of invoices
• Control and be accountable for all internal reporting in line with client processes, procedures and timescales. These include forecasting, work in progress reporting, month end reporting etc
• Lead the establishment of commercial activities on new contracts and monitor through to final account with the client, highlighting any potential risks to line management
• Manage all internal sales/cost transfers to other contact numbers and regions.
• Lead procurement of subcontractor and third party activities
• Provide reports to the client and the company to substantiate claims made within the contract
• Ensure information about the contract that is required by operational colleagues is provided and explained where necessary
• Provide and interpret information about productivity and profitability to local and senior management
• Manage locally provided estimates and provide support for the central estimating department
• Liaise with client on contractual matters
• Supervise, manage and train junior staff

Qualifications:

• Relevant HND/C or equivalent
