OVERALL PURPOSE

Develop skill base to become a P3e Planning Engineer.

Undergo a vigorous training academy within a Nuclear based client.

Develop knowledge of P3e and Planning in relation to Project specific work.

Provide support to the dispersed project planning team.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Ensuring the delivery of SQESH performance in accordance with the requirements of AWE SQESH policy and SQESH management systems within all areas of this roles’ responsibility.•
• For implementing best practice project planning policy, processes and procedures on projects
• For accurately identifying, controlling and forecasting the time scales and resource requirements of projects to minimise the likelihood of time overruns.
• For co-ordinating the flow of information to ensure that interfaces both within projects are effectively managed to optimise efficiencies.
• For developing and incorporating critical path, resource and programme risk analysis into resource allocations and the monitoring and reporting of progress against that planned.
• For progressing programmes, monitoring and reporting on project performance, highlighting deviations, providing early warnings and identifying and presenting project slippage recovery strategies.
• For summarising data through the programme hierarchy from detail to summary levels.
• For developing and managing a database to capture and identify work rate norms and trends, earned value and performance indicators.
• For responding to customer feedback on planning performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering / Civil Background (Possible Apprenticeship Served)
• Intelligence coupled with charismatic / easygoing approach
• Interest in Planning
• University Degree (Preferable not essential)
• Desire to work in varying environments
• British (Must hold British Passport
• Primavera P3e experience / awareness

Our Client would like to recruit a Structural Engineer with working knowledge of design codes BS8007 / BS8110. You will be involved with the design of Water Retaining Structures for AMP4 projects. Candidates must be degree qualified and ideally Chartered although not essential.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer with working knowledge designing commercial buildings in reinforced concrete and steelwork. There will be scope to project manage schemes and be responsible for there timely delivery.

Technicians required to work throughout the Avon/Hampshire region. Candidates must have working knowledge of leakage identification, pressure zero testing and reporting.

Ideally candidates will have a working knowledge of maintenance schemes associated with Highway Structures. Candidates who have strengthening design and assessment experience would be preferred. The successful applicant would be required to promote and instil financial and production discipline in managing their clients commercial interest through the delivery of a project or group of projects to agreed scope, timescales and budget.

You would need to Excel in Client Relationship Management and Solution Management, delivering solutions with the right balance of Performance, Risk and Cost under the best commercial terms.

An opportunity has arisen for a degree qualified Engineer to work on prestigious AMP4 project work for our client in Wakefield. Successful applicants must have working knowledge designing Water treatment works.

We are currently looking to recruit a number of Hydraulic modellers with working knowledge of water / wastewater / flood modelling, using any of the following packages : HEC-RAS, ISIS, Infoworks or H20Net. Due to the high demand for staff we have opportunities available nationwide.

We have several opportunities throughout the UK for Engineers at all levels with working knowledge of sewer network design. Applications are welcome from Graduates to Principal Engineer level. Candidates must be qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND level in Civil Engineering.
