RSS Feeds


Scantec have created RSS feeds to keep you updated with the latest industry news and vacancies. You can use RSS reading software to have new vacancies and updates delivered directly to your laptop or mobile as soon as they hit our website.

What is RSS?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" and provides a way for web sites to make their frequently updated content available to people without having to visit the site in a browser. It is similar in some respects to email because users can be notified of new entries without having to request updates.

How do I use the RSS Feeds?
Firstly, you need to a have an 'RSS reader' installed on your computer. Please see 'Where can I get an RSS Reader?' for more information.

On right side of each of our Disciplines pages you will see an orange 'RSS' symbol with a link next to it e.g.
Subscribe to RSS feed
If you have an RSS reader installed and would like to use an RSS feed, simply copy the link address and paste it (or drag the link) into your RSS reader. You should then see a list of jobs appear in the reader. You may subscribe to as many RSS feeds as you like.

Where can I get an RSS Reader?
There are many different readers available for almost every operating system.
You should be able to use any type of RSS Reader successfully with the Scantec RSS feeds, provided it supports RSS 2.0.  A simple google search will provide you with a summary of freely available RSS readers.
