Scantec Personnel has appointed two new account managers and promoted a key staff member.
It has hired Shereese Doyle as an account manager within its technical engineering contract team.
Chris Stanley has been appointed as an account manager within the electrical and instrumentation team and Leanne Stewart has been promoted to payroll supervisor.

Agency Workers Regulation

The guidance notes about the AWR have now been published and will come into force from 1st October 2011.
The aim of the guidance is to help both hirers of agency workers and the recruitment sector understand the AWR and the implications and responsibilities for both hirers and temporary work agencies.
We have taken independent legal advice and have also met with our approved intermediary suppliers. We are now in the process of consultation with all clients to ensure that both our clients and ourselves are as prepared as possible for the coming changes.

Scantec to exhibit at the 2011 Security Cleared Expo

Scantec is exhibiting at the 2011 Security Cleared Expo. The event is being held on Thursday May 5th in Bristol.
This event is held for clients and recruitment agencies from the private, government and defence sectors that require candidates with varying levels of security clearance. The 2011 Expo in Bristol follows the success of the of the first event held in Westminster in 2010
The 2011 Security Cleared Expo takes place at Brunel’s Old Station, Clock Tower Yard, Temple Meads, Bristol, BS1 6QH and doors are open between 10.00am – 4.30pm.
