Scantec celebretes 20 years of trading this month, with plans to grow turnover to £100m over the next five years.

To celebrate the event Scantec organised a celebratory get-away for its staff to Puerto Banus in Spain for an all expenses paid four day break. All Scantec employees stayed at the Andalucia Plazza Hotel where the staff enjoyed champagne and a gala dinner.
“We have weathered the recession a lotbetter than most within our industry and we wanted to reward the hard work allthe staff have shown throughout our 20 years.” Chairman John Robinson said.

Scantec is backing Liverpool at the World Expo in Shanghai. The firm will showcase its technical and engineering expertise at the event through a promotional film. Scantec’s overseas division was launched two years ago andpredominantly supplies personnel to the energy, nuclear, oil and gas,chemical and petrochemical sectors. The firm saw a 60% rise inrecruitment overseas during quarter one 2010 compared to last year andhope capitalise on this success at the Expo. See Liverpool Echo report:
