Decontamination Technician

Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (40 hours)
The Role
My client is looking for a Decontamination Technician to join their team near Reading. This is a hands-on role involving specialist cleaning, site decontaminations, and emergency response across the UK. Every day is different – you could be working in confined spaces, using high-pressure water jetting, or tackling hazardous materials.
What You’ll Do

Carry out deep cleaning, tank cleaning, decontamination, and site clearance.

Support emergency response operations.

Work in varied environments including confined spaces and at height.

Operate equipment safely and follow health & safety procedures.

Keep sites and equipment to a high standard.

Complete paperwork and reports accurately.
What We’re Looking For

Experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste, or similar (preferred).

Strong health & safety awareness.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to gain further qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, IOSH or NEBOSH.
